ABQJOURNAL NEWS/STATE: Land Conservation Tax Credit Program Updated:”The state has increased the amount of money that can be credited to landowners to help preserve open space, habitat for wildlife, watersheds, agricultural land and historic places.
The state Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department says the Land Conservation Incentives Act has been amended to increase the maximum conservation tax credit to $250,000, up from $100,000. The amendments also make the tax credit transferrable for donations made as of this year.”
